Jib Sock

Here I am in Melbourne Australia and after some thinking about the problem I design a sleeve to go over my Imexus 28's jib. I sent it off to a craftsman I've used with my innovations before and after a little while he calls me and says 'these are already available online at Leesailcovers.com and I can't do it at the price'. So I go through the simple process and it arrives at my door quicker than if the local guy could have done it anyway wow! Thanks Lee Sail Covers, terrific product and service.

The jib sock arrived quickly and seems to be well made to the measurements requested.

Upon arrival I verified the dimensions of the jib sock and it was exactly as ordered. As a surprise feature, the jib sock had 3 zipper sections - my old jib sock from another supplier had only one long zipper. In the future, the 3 zipper sections should make any maintenance easier. At this point I'll need to await the start of the boating season in the Northeast to determine how well the material handles the elements. Overall the finish of the jib sock is excellent.

It was the color, diameter, and length I ordered. It went up the first time I used it and looks great on the boat. I added one inch to the diameter I measured, and I am glad I did. Two inches might have been better. If you are ordering a JibSock, check your measurements twice, at least, and add an inch or two to the diameter.
