A mainsail pack (also known as Stack Pack*, Lazy Pack, Mack Pack*) is popular with boats that use a lazy jack system. Simply drop the sail into the pack and zipper to close. The mainsail pack cover is integrated with a lazy jack system (not included) to support the top of the sail pack and guide the sail neatly into place inside the cover. At the foot of the cover there is 2" wide webbing every 12" with twist lock closures to either go between sail slugs(if you have slugs on the sail foot) for pack to sit above the boom, or the 2" webbing to go under the boom.  Any questions please feel free to call (800) 516-2703 or email me at customerservice@leesailcovers.com  (Not include: Lazy Jacks and #40 PVC 3/4" pipe). Good Stack Pack, Great Price

Posted by Ryan on 29th Jul 2018

Just put my newain sail stack pack on and it looks good. I will review again in one year as to it's durability. So far I am very pleased. Still have to install the Lazy Jack's on my mizzen mast and then I'll put my mizzen stack pack up too!

    Easy Mainsail Handling

Posted by Tim Prouty, Tucson AZ on 26th Apr 2018

The Main Sail Pack was simple to install and is well crafted. It works very well and makes sail handling so much easier. I love the zipper! I was challenged to figure out the correct way to run the lazy jack lines through the cover but it works now. I tied a loop in my topping lift line to secure the top of the Main Sail Pack at the aft end of the boom. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to a friend!

    Excellent construction

Posted by Ji McMurray on 13th Nov 2017

While I haven't installed the sail pack yet, I have inspected it and find excellent design and fabrication. I'm sure when spring comes I'll have to trouble fitting it and will be happy with its operation.

    Great for single handing!

Posted by Ed Long on 22nd Aug 2017

Product came quicker than expected and was a snap to install. I had two lazy jacks on each side of the boom and ended up disconnecting them from the boom and running them through the D rings on each side. Put taut line hitches in each side so I can slacken them before raising my main, and tighten when done for the day. If you keep your jacks too tight they will catch the battens, and that is not fun. Love the way you just flake the sail in and zipper it up. Easy Peasy! If it only came with Mud Dauber repellent.:)

One of the best investments I've made in my boat.

Posted by Brian Sams on 13th Jun 2017

From ordering to delivery, everything was great. I had a few considerations that had to be taken into account and they had no problem with that. The only thing that I would like to see is some better installation instructions, possibly a link to a video. In the end, it went on fine, but there was some head scratching that could have been easily avoided with some more thorough and we'll written instructions.

    Perfect product for a DIY'er

Posted by Scott on 11th Jun 2017

So I finally installed Lazy Jacks. which meant that my sail cover needed modifying. Actually, the main sail cover needed replacing. Cost of mainsail cover replacement pretty much equals what you'd pay for this product. Just wish that I'd seriously considered this product before the lazy jacks. Everything works well, just that I'm probably going to have to do some lazy jack reconfiguration to optimize the use of this product.. Highly recommend for a DIY'er. Not that it's complicated, just there are lots of options to consider. For instance do you want to be able to pull the jacks to the mast or not; etc.

    Great experience so far

Posted by Nick Martin on 25th May 2017

Lee provided on the phone help with properly sizing and ordering and the cover came quickly. It installed easily and seems to work well, looking forward to our first sail. Had one issue with one of the tabs for the lazy-jacks wearing through as I installed the line, but it's held.

Very nice quality - limited documentation

Posted by Unknown on 11th May 2017

I was very happy with the ordering process and quality of the product when it arrived. Some suggestions to get that last star: 1) Make sure and mention you expect a topping-lift - my boat doesn't have one. 2) Provide guidance on sailing with one (e.g. how much should I slack the lines, how to minimize windage, etc) 3) A little more guidance on measurement and how much 'slack' is in the numbers - I measured pretty carefully, but the final product is pretty generous in size and probably could have been smaller. 4) I'd like to see D-Rings on the loops used to attach the existing lazy-jack lines - suspect that will be initial point of failure since it's where the load is held 5) I may have gotten the length a little short because measured to the end of the sail instead of the end of the boom - and while furled so it was back a little bit - emphasize that it's boom length that's important (since it attaches there...)
